List of Law Enforcement Supporters Grows

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, March 19, 2012

(RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA) – 31st Senate District candidate Jeff Miller continues to solidify his law enforcement credentials by adding Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff to his list of supporters. Previously Miller has announced endorsements from District Attorney Paul Zellerbach and the Riverside Sheriffs Association.

Sheriff Stan Sniff serves as the chief law enforcement officer for Riverside County, with over 4,000 full-time employees and over 1,600 volunteers providing patrol duties, maintaining the county jail system, protecting our courts, and performing coroner duties. He provides police services under contract to 17 of Riverside County’s 28 cities, and his agency directly impacts all 2.2 million residents in one form or another.

“We need leadership in the Senate that understands the problems that the law enforcement community of Riverside faces during these tough financial times. The Sheriff’s Department is constantly under the threat to have budget cuts which puts our communities at risk,” said Sheriff Stan Sniff. “Jeff has real solutions and will fight for State dollars that will keep Deputy staffing at levels that will ensure response times are low and our communities are safe. We need Jeff’s leadership in Sacramento and that’s why he has my support.”

Miller’s extended list of endorsements can be found at www.JeffMiller2012.com.

Democrats Drop below 40%

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, February 1, 2012

CORONA, CA – - Republicans have picked up a net increase of 1,944 new registrations in the battleground 31st Senate District since November 1st, while Democrats added a paltry 270 to their numbers. According to the Secretary of State’s official report released yesterday, the district now stands at 39.7 DEM and 36.7 REP.

“The trend in the 31st district is clearly toward Republicans, as voters and potential voters start to focus on the 2012 election,” said GOP consultant Dave Gilliard, who is running Jeff Miller’s campaign. “While Sacramento Democrats have been scrambling to even find a viable candidate, Republicans have hit the ground and done the hard work needed to set the stage for a Miller victory in November.”

The new 31st Senate District is entirely in the County of Riverside, and includes the cities of Corona, Norco, Riverside, Moreno Valley, Jurupa Valley, Eastvale and Perris.

Jeff Miller represents the western portion of the new Senate district in the State Assembly. Miller is the former Mayor of Corona and a long-time business owner in Riverside

The endorsements for Republican Jeff Miller continue to roll in, while Sacramento Democrats continue to struggle to find and recruit a candidate they can support.

“It’s getting late in the game and Jeff Miller has been working hard for months to consolidate support. Anybody who gets into the 31st district race now will be at a serious disadvantage,” said Miller’s consultant Dave Gilliard.
