Jeff Miller Releases Impressive List of Local Endorsements
Over 8,500 Followers on Facebook and Twitter

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, August 30, 2011

CORONA, CA – - Republican Jeff Miller’s campaign for State Senate in the new 31st district is off to a flying start, with 17 mayors and city council members from inside the district endorsing Jeff.  Miller also announced that his Facebook and Twitter are already being followed by a combined 8,500 people.

Those endorsing Miller for Senate include:  Norco Mayor Berwin Hanna, Mayor Pro Tem Kevin Bash,  Council members  Greg Newton, Harvey Sullivan, and Kathy Azevedo; Corona Mayor Stan Skipworth, Mayor Pro Tem Eugene Montenez and Council members Steve Nolan, Jason Scott and Karen Spiegel. From the city of Eastvale, Miller has received endorsements from Mayor Adam Rush, Mayor Pro Tem Jeff DeGrandpre, and Council member Kelly Howell.

Also named today as Miller supporters were:  Riverside Councilman Chris MacArthur, Moreno Valley Councilwoman Robin Hastings, Moreno Valley City Council Member Bill Batey, Jurupa Valley City Councilmember Michael Goodland and Perris Mayor Darrell Busch.

“I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support I have received from the local elected officials in the new 31st Senate District,” said Miller. “ I look forward to continuing to work with these fine public servants to bring jobs and prosperity to Riverside County.”

Assemblyman Miller currently represents the western portion of the new Senate District. Prior to his election to the Assembly, Miller, a local small business owner, served as Mayor for the City of Corona.
